Jacob asked to go to Chuck E. Cheeses for his birthday party. We went there last Friday afternoon. We had a fun and great time together as a family. Jacob was able to get a toy rocket afterword with our combined ticket winnings. On Sunday, we celebrated with a specially planned dinner (by Jacob) of homemade chicken nuggets and fries, green beans, tomatoes (from our garden) and his "car" cake, which was his idea and design. I got trick candles for his cake, we lost count on how many times we relit the candles on his cake. Jacob and Noah both wanted to keep blowing out the candles (a tradition from my Wheelwright family, relighting the candles on the cake so each child has a chance at blowing them out. Of course the birthday child got the first blow out!).
