Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2013!
Greetings from the Webb home! Merry Christmas to all our family and friends! We hope you are doing well, enjoying this holiday season. We hope the 2013 year will be a wonderful year for you and yours!
This year we will start with Tim, yes, Tim. Congratulations to Tim, he just reach his 5th year anniversary on Dec. 10th at Sandia National Laboratory! He enjoys his work and we are very grateful for his career there. Tim was just released from working with the young men in our church, a calling he has had since we moved into our house three years ago. He is now Cub Scout Master and is working with the Cub Scouts, including Jacob. He does a fabulous job with pack meetings and the boys have alot of fun too. He has great talent in this area.
Wendy is completely enjoying her career as well, which keep her hopping and seems to change daily in some way or another. The best part of my career is planning fun family outings, we have gone on alot of them this year. We went to California, Bay Area last January to visit my Grandpa and Grandma Haupt, my Uncle Brad and Aunt Marilyn and we see their family. Our boys love staying at their place and call it the "farm". Tim and I spent our birthdays at my Uncle and Aunt's home, they made it a very special one for us, complete with a yummy chocolate cake my aunt made :). We saw alot of fun sights in the Bay Area including walking on the Golden Gate Bridge as a family. We took the boys to the circus in February, which they loved. I went to "Time out for Women" in March with some of my girl friends here. In June we took our annual trip to Utah and Idaho and saw all our family and friends there except Mom and Dad who are serving a LDS mission in NYC. In July Tim and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary by going to the boardway production of "Les Miserables" which was here in ABQ. This play is both our favorite broadway and we LOVED it, had a incredible time! This October, our friend Angel, took our family pictures in the gardens here, they turned out lovely and it was just an incredable fun ride as a family, getting this pictures taken, one we won't forget. I saw a glimpse of eternity that afternoon!
The last month, my calling in our church changed. I am now Primary President of our ward. I am so excited and look forward to serving the children of our ward. It is fun being around alot of children again and I hope I can help them learn and love the Gospel. The theme for this coming year in Primary is one of my favorites, it is "I am a Child of God." I have been blessed with a very talented and experienced presidency, this ladies are great to work with. We have been blessed with a fabulous ward family who are our close friends too. I am still walking with two of my friends (have been for more than a year now), five mornings a week, this time has richly blessed my life in many ways.
Jacob is NINE! Can you believe THAT?! Crazy, how time fly, really flys! Jacob started third grade this year. He smile is completly filled in for now, with eight new permanent teeth. He enjoy school and learning all sort of new things and ideas. Jacob is a high productive boy and loves to tell jokes. Jacob started piano lessons this fall and his first piano recital was a success. He played last Saturday at the hospital where Adam was born. Jacob also earned his wolf award in Cub Scouts this past September, which he was very proud of. Jacob loves lizards and his favorite color is still green. He loves to build with Legos with every free moment he has. Jacob enjoys playing and reading to Adam, which he did call "baby school" but now he calls it "toddler school" since Adam is a toddler. :)His favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, he and I had a wonderful time together in the kitchen preparing family recipes this year. Jacob is a great help in the kitchen, he is able to do so many things by himself now, it is grand! Jacob is now up to my shoulder in height, he is getting so tall. Jacob is growing into a fine young man and we love having him in our family.
Noah, is almost six, will be next week. He is thrilled that his birthday is coming up, he calls all birthdays in our house, holidays! Noah started Kindergarten this year, he has grown into a very responsible, helpful boy. He daily "happenings" at school are all about the "fun things" he got to do, it all about the fun. He started playing soccer this past fall and enjoys it. Noah was eating his lunch the day after Thanksgiving and "my tooth just fell into my mouth!" Yes, Noah lost his first tooth!
Noah loves Legos just as much as Jacob, he loves to build. Noah favorite color is orange and his favorite animal is the zebra. Noah spends time helping Adam, which is really cute to watch. Many night we hear Jacob and Noah talking before they go to sleep or singing, they are the best of friends.
Adam is now two. He is super busy, fun and loves to climb. Adam just got in all his teeth and his smile is complete for now. Adam loves to be anywhere his family is and he is a great, little companion. Adam has his own lawn mower and loves to follow Tim around the yard as Tim mows the lawn. Adam favorite animal is dogs and horses; we aren't sure of his favorite color yet, but he love going to the zoo and the aquarium. He can say most of the animals sounds now. Last week Adam said "bye-bye" for the first time! Adam loves to be outside and on the run. Adam loves to cuddle, it is great! Adam started going to our church's nursery this past April and LOVE IT and can't wait to go every Sunday. (What Adam has to say, "cvnnnnnnnnnnnnnn n,mnnnnnnnmbjlllllllbg jgjjgbjbgjjbgjjgjgjjgbjgjgjjjjjjjbgjjgjjgbjgbjkbgjgbbgk gjbgjgbjjgbjggbjjgbjgjjgjg j gjj jg jgjgjcikkg n.") Adam is so "helpful" and loves to be apart of whatever is going on here.
We add two new animal members to our family this year. In April, a blue parakeet flew into our back yard and we named her Jaylyn. Last month, we got the boys an early Christmas present, Oliver, a male, green parakeet. Jaylyn is delighted to have a companion, she is still really quite, but that makes up for Oliver, who love to squawk any chance he gets. They are fun to watch and listen too. They get along so well and are so fun. The boys are happy to FINALLY have a pet(s). :)
We love this time of year in which we can reflex and celebrate our Savior, Jesus Christ's birth and perfect life. He is the reason we have Christmas and we are so grateful for Him and ALL He has and is still doing for us. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3:16 Merry Christmas! Love, Tim, Wendy, Jacob, Noah and Adam Webb

Halloween Sewing
sas
I saw some very fun fabric while shopping this morning. I brought three yards and maded them into Halloween pillow cases for Jacob, Noah and Adam. This is one of the things I like to do while Adam is taking his nap and the other boys are in school. Here is a pictures of the boys with their pillow. We are all very excited for fall and winter, because that means all our family's birthday and the holiday season is coming!

Jacob's Update
Yesterday, I took Jacob to his doctor for his yearly exam. All is well, he is a healthy and growing boy. Jacob grew 2.5 inches in height last year. He is 69 pounds and 54.5 inches tall. He has 20/20 vision in both eyes now. Jacob is just about to my shoulder, I just can't believe how much he had grown this year and that we have a nine year old in the house! Happy Birthday Jacob!

BBQ With Cousins and Tammy's Family
After leaving Manti, Saturday morning, we travelled up to see Tammy, Lorin and Joseph. We saw their very nice, new apartment and spent sometime with them. It was fun seeing our kids play together. Joseph is such a sweet boy.
We went over to my cousin, Becky and Skyler's home for a BBQ with cousins. She was a wonderful hostess and we met her new little girl, Melody. Emma, Curt, Johanna and Randy came too. We had a nice visit and the food was delicous. It was so nice to been there and spend time with everyone there. Noah and I both enjoyed holding Melody.
Manti Pageant
Friday, June 22, 2012 we started our yearly family vacation. We drive up to Utah and Idaho to see our families and friends there. This year, Brother and Sister Stevens (Tammy and Lorin's parents) invited us to stay with them and see the "Mormon Miracle Pageant", in Manti Utah. We had a lovely stay and all of us enjoyed the pageant, it was so well done. The highlight of the pageant is when Jesus Christ visits the Nephities as told in the Book of Mormon. The Spirit was so strong and it touched me deeply. The boys thought the Manti Temple was so pretty. We appreciate Brother and Sister Stevens for their kindnesses.

What We Have Done In Ten Years-July 20, 2002-July 20, 2012
Next month Tim and I will celebrate ten years of being married. It has gone by pretty fast for the most part. It was been a great and very memoriable ten years. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful man as Tim is in my life. I hope that I have been as good of spouse to him as he has been to me. Tim is a wonderful husband, terrific father and my best friend. I appreciate all he does for our family. Raising a family had many joyful moments but it is no easy task, he has done it so well.
Some of the things we have done in the last ten years:
1. Married in the Idaho Falls temple for time and eternally.
2. Both graduated from college.
3. Had three, handsome, health and active sons, Jacob, Noah and Adam.
4. Moved five times, one move we moved far, far from the homes we grew up in.
5. Secured a job and brought a house.
6. Served multiple callings in the Church.
7. Kept close touch to our families, even living far away.
8. Made many new and close friends here while keeping in touch with our old friends back home.
9. Enjoying a completely different weather, culture and climate than what we were raised in.
10. Learned to savor the rain when it comes.
11. Learning to be parents...on going process that never ends...
12. Loving each other more each day.
25th Anniversary Les Miserables
Tim and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary on Friday, July 20 this year. We celebrated our anniversary early this year by going to see a broadway performance of "Les Miserables". It was phenomenal!!! We both loved it and promised to see it again in the future. We hope to take our sons when they are much older.
We got a babysitter for six hours, it was lovely just being with Tim. We seen and spoke to some friends of ours that were there too. I saw the play in the Capital thearter August 1996, 16 years ago, my parents took our family the day before I left for Rick's College. It was fun to see the changes they had made to the play since then and the amazing uses of technology. It was so thrilling and worth it!
We went to dinner after the play, thanks to a friend we were able to find some fabulous, Greek Gyros and salad and ice cream. We enjoyed walking around the university campus here, something I haven't done and we have lived here four and a half years. I have driven through it on the way to the airport. It was a hot walk, but we just enjoyed being together.
We are much better at taking pictures of our boys, hence we have no pictures of this date. But it won't be forgotten. Tim and I both love the story line of Les Miserables and listen to the music alot.
We had such a lovely time together, a great way to celebrate ten years of marriage.

"If I Could Keep You Little..."
I found this children's book last night and just loved it. Enjoy!
"If I Could Keep You Little..." Written and Illustrated By Marianne Richmond.
If I could keep you little, I'd hum you lullabies. But then I'd miss you singing your concert's big surprise.
If I could keep you little, I'd hold your hand everywhere. But then I'd miss you knowing, "I can go...you stay there."
If I could keep you little, I'd kiss your cuts and scrapes. But then I'd miss you learning from your own mistakes.
If I could keep you little, I'd strap you in real tight. But then I'd miss you swinging from your treetop height.
If I could keep you little, I'd decide on matching clothes. But then I'd miss you choosing dots on top and stripes below.
If I could keep you little, I'd cut your bread into shapes. But then I'd miss you finding, "Hey, I like ketchup with my grapes!"
If I could keep you little, I'd tell you stories every night. But then I'd miss you reading the words you've learned by sight.
If I could keep you little, I'd push you anywhere. But then I'd miss you feeling your speed form here to there.
If I could keep you little, I'd pick for you a friend of two. But then I'd miss you finding friends you like who like you, too!
If I could keep you little, We'd finger-paint our art. But then I'd miss you creating stories from your heart.
If I could keep you little, I'd push you ducky float. But then I'd miss you feeling the wind behind summer's boat.
If I could keep you little, We'd nap in our fort midday. But then I'd miss you sharing adventures from camp away.
If I could keep you little, I'd fly you with my feet. But then I'd miss you seeing sky and clouds from your seat.
If I could keep you little, I'd keep you close to me. But then I'd miss you growing into who you're meant to be!
Father's and Son's Outing
Each person in our family looks forward every year to our ward's Father's and Son's outing. Tim, Jacob and Noah went this year, had a great time and even had a campfire! They left here about four o'clock p.m. and got back this morning at 10:30 a.m. Jacob got to hold a wild lizard, "it was brown and yellow on it's back and had a blue belly with sparks" which he was thrilled about. The boys played with friends and had plenty of time to explore. They stayed up around the campfire until after dark.
So it is tradition in our family that the boys don't go on Father's and Son's outing until they are fully toliet trained. This is nice for me because I get one-on-one with each of our youngest. Adam was really upset when he realized that his dad and brothers left. So we had some fun together and enjoyed the silence of the house!
Mom here is the picture I took for you of Adam sitting in his lawn chair.

HAPPY BROTHER'S DAY!
Did you know that May 24th is Brother's Day? We just found that out today. On Mother's Day Jacob asked a very good question, "Ok, so there is Mother's Day and Father's Day, why isn't there a Brother's and Sister's Day?" Hmmm. Rightly put Jacob. Mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters are all important and needed in our families. So we decided on this past Mother's Day to make a new tradition in our family, we were going to have a Happy Brother's Day. We planned it for this Sunday,May 27, just because it was in the middle of Mother Day's and Father's Day.
As I was watching the weather on local news this morning, they informed us that today was Brother's Day, in which Jacob was thrilled! I asked them what they would like to do today for Brother's Day and they didn't know...so we will have to work on that.:) The orignal seven members of Wheelwright family at Tammy's wedding.
Wheelwright brothers and sisters trying to get their children to smile and hold still for the picture with Grandma and Grandpa Wheelwright, not
Tim's brothers, Scott and Joshua just before high school graduation. One special day!
Jacob and Noah have a balloon bath on Noah's 2nd birthday, December 19.
I was blessed in my life to have great brothers, Will, Jon and Brad and brother-in-law Lorin, Eric, Jared, Scott and Joshua. They have and still have a very positive influence in my life. They are amazing husbands, fathers to their children and uncles to my boys. I love the fun memories we have made with them. I appreciate their goodness and strength in my life and am so grateful I have them.
FYI: The first Sunday in August is Happy Sister's Day!

Update on Jay
It will be a month on the 27th that we found Jay (the parakette that we found perched on our backyard door). We have tried to find his owner, but have had no reply or responses, to our noticies that we put out. So we have decided to keep Jay as our pet. Jacob has done a great job taking care of him so far and he also named him Jay...after BlueJay (since he is blue). We enjoy his tweets in our home. We have his cage hung in our dining room and he has another hook outside on our porch in the backyard (his favorite place to be as he can communicate with the wild birds there). Yesterday, he was doing tricks for me, hanging upside down on his perch and moving through the branches of his cage. We are starting to see his personality and it is a shy, but fun one.
We were having such a hard time choosing a pet, the boys, mainly Jacob really wanted one. But thankfully, it was decided for us. Jacob would still love a lizard, but for now Jay is doing the trick and we all love him. I was asked if the bird was a girl or a boy bird, I reply, "We only make hims here.".
Webb Family At The Solar Eclipse!!!
The pictures say it ALL! What I facebooked last night, "The solar eclipse was amazing, right up my scientist, husband's ally and my three little want-to-be scientists sons too. Great memories made tonight as a family!"
Solar Eclipse
THE RING OF FIRE!
Last night we had an unforgettable family activty. We witnessed a solar eclipse! It started 6:28p.m. and lasted for about one hour. The "Ring of Fire" last four minutes long. There was also a beauiful clear sunset afterward.
In Jacob's extension class they made solar eclipse viewer with cereal boxes and learned all about it. I am not sure who was more excited, Tim or Jacob about this physical science wonder...they both took a good amount of time preparing for it. We drove up in the foothill, to a park at 5:45, at least a hurdred people were already there. We got an awesome place to set up the camera and our chairs. Everyone around us were so friendly, we even met a lady from Canada. Both Jacob's viewer worked well and he was so pleased. A co-worker from Tim's work gave him "Eclipse glasses" which worked the very best, it was so amazing and unforgettable! We took turns using them. Noah put them on and yelled, "OH, COOL!!!" Yes, it was.
The elcipse experience was so unlike anything we had every experienced. We got there in broad sunshine, we were hot and coated everyone in sunsceen. But as the elcipse happened, it cooled down, got dust colored, even though it wasn't dust yet. We kept looking around, it looked so different. The night cooled much faster because of the elcipse. It was a marvelous experience for sure.
