Adam is Nine Months!

It is hard to believe, but yes, our baby Adam is nine months old! Since we have gotten home from our vacation, he has learned a few new tricks. Adam has decided the scoot-crawling is the best way to get around. He now moves all over the house and nothing stops him. He climbed up and down our step with no help and the first few times, no one saw him do it. He know how to sit up from a laying position. He broke through two bottom teeth and yesterday he got up on his hands and both feet! Adam has really taken a liking to solid foods and opens his month up wide (alot easier for mom and baby now). Oh, he is too big for his baby bath, so he takes baths like the rest of us know.
So as you can read, Adam is on his way...fast track to keeping up to his brothers. Have to run go close the bathroom doors, he is on the move again!!!

Cousin Time

The older cousins enjoyed playing with each other just as much as the younger cousins did. They went to a parade, had a sleepover, jumped on the tampoline, went swimming and played video games. Aunt Tammy taught them how a "SMART" board works. It was sad saying good-bye, but they are excited to play again in September at our house!

Happy 11th Birthday Riley!

Riley turned 11 years old last week-end. He is our oldest and first nephew. I remember very well his birth and going up to the hospital to hold him. I enjoyed visiting him and his parents when he came home from the hospital on many occasions. Riley is one of Jacob's heroes and he and Noah love to play with him. Happy Birthday Riley!

Four Generations

One of my biggest delights of our vacation is we got to see and visit with my Grandparents. We hadn't seen them since Tammy's wedding, two years ago. My grandpa, Ernest George Haupt, is my last living grandparent, he will be 87 in two months, born 8in 1924. I remember growing up, every Sunday night my Mom calling him for their weekly chats. I got to talk alot of the time and this is how I got to know my Grandpa so well, along with our family vacation to California. My Grandpa grew up in Iowa (I am named after his mother, May) and fought in WWII, married my Grandma and had five children, all names starting with the letter B. Barbara, Bruce, Brent, Bradley and Beth. After my Grandma Betty died when I was eleven, my Grandpa later married Marilyn. I feel blessed to have two close Grandmas on my Mom's side. My Grandpa has taught me alot about life and how to live it! My Grandma, Betty, and Grandpa join the L.D.S. church when my Mom was eight, after being taught by missionaries. My Grandpa have stayed faithful every since he join the Church. I have many wonderful memories with him and appreciate his love, support and great sense of humor. Thanks Grandpa!

Webb Family Reunion

We had a nice evening with our Webb family while we were visiting Idaho. We had a lovely picnic, softball game and the kids played in the park together. Tim and Scott even got to play a game of chess. It was nice seeing everyone. We missed Carey and her family.

Wheelwright Family Reunion

We managed, no easy task, to get everyone together for a family picture this year. With my parents going on a mission this fall, we wanted to get a updated picture before they left. We took a family picture last summer, but it was quickly out dated with four new babies born. Between Jan. 2010 and May 2011 five new babies were born! Danasia Jane, Jan. 2011 (Will and Jana), Adam James, Oct. 2011 (Tim and Wendy), Penny Jane, Nov. 2011 (Brad and Robin), Grayson Porter, Jan. 2011 (Jon and Lori), and Joseph Ernest, May 2011(Tammy and Lorin). My Dad calls the babies "The Fantastic Five!" This makes eleven Wheelwright grandkids!!!
For so odd reason, some of the pictures will not download to the blog. So some of our favorites are missing like the picture of the whole Wheelwright family. Sorry!

Visiting To Temple Square

As part of our vacation this year my parents and I took the boys to visit Temple Square in Salt Lake City. Temple Square is the where the headquarters for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is located. It is also where L.D.S. General Conference is heald and broadcasted all over the world in many different language, every April and October of each year.
Temple Square is a beautiful place filled with rich, Mormon history. Growing up, my family and I took trips to Temple Square many times, I took it for granted, living so close.
Each of our boys are named after a prophet in the Bible. So while we were there, each of the boys found painting of each of the prophets they are named after and we took pictures of each of them in from of their prophet.
So I wanted our boys to see and remember Temple Square as I had growing up. The Spirit is so strong there! We all had a delightful time and going to church in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building (which use to be the Hotel Utah). Tim would have loved to come, but he was in Chigago on business.
