Saturday, our family went to the International Balloon Fiesta. What an experience of a life time! We were all in a state of pure amazement, as we had never seen anything like it and never been around so many people. Tim stated with how many people we saw there would easily fit the population of Pocatello, Idaho. The news said tens of thousand were there for this unforgettable event.
We got there after the "Mass Ascension", perfect timing as not all the balloons can go up at the same time, impossible due to the number that finally go up, just 624 baloons! We were able to watch many balloons get ready to fly, plus we were standing to two balloons and touch them as they blew up. We got some neat pictures but they don't do this event judgest. The only way is to experience it for yourself, right Greatpa and Grandma (both have come and riden in a baloon themselves).
We saw some balloons that our family would like: Dad and my brothers: An eagle, Mom: A strawberry and Star Wars Fans: Darth Vader.
