A Campin' We Will Go

We took our first camping trip since we move here. We found a National Forest an hour and a half away from our house. The drive reminded us of driving up the our Wheelwright cabin. There were tons of pine and quaken aspen tree. We were so delight to find a place that reminded us of the camping trips we took as kids (Tim and I). The weather was just beautiful and we had a wonderful time. Jacob and Noah loved the camp fire and making smores. The night was a bit rough as Noah wanted to play musicial beds, moving from one sleeping bed to the next and wanting a bottle.
But we had such a fun time that we plan to go back in two months before Jacob starts school. One our way home we stopped and took a tour of the local fish hatchery, which produces 1.7 million fish per year to be released back into the forest streams here. We also feed the trout while we were there. We drove by an old Baptist church, which had gravesites in the church lawn. Fun memories!
