MTC They Go!

My parents, Bruce and Barbara Wheelwright, our children's Grandpa and Grandma enter the Provo, Utah Mission Training Center (MTC) tomorrow. They will be there for about two weeks and then come home to pack to move back to New York. They will be driving back to New York soon after, the end of November.
They are going to serve a mission for our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They will be serving there for a period of 18 months as Welfare Specialists, working in the L.D.S. Employment Center in downtown, Manhattan, NY.
We are very excited for them. My parents have always had a love for missionary work going as far back as my Mom's family being converted to the church when my Mom was around eight years old. My Dad served a mission in the Hawaiian islands in 1963-1965. My parents has many friends there and our family have been so blessed to know the people he met there.
Going up my parents have continued to do missionary work, making friends and having them over for dinner. We knew as children that our parents were planning on serving a full-time mission in their retirement years.
So here they go! Good luck Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa! We love and pray for you!
