Celebrating Pioneer Day

Up the canyon east from where we live, our stake had a picnic to celebrate pioneer day. We drove up about nine in the morning. Tim was in charge of flag football and ultimate frisbee, which he played both for two hours. We got to watch him play and he is really good, scoring many touchdowns. Sorry for lack of some pictures of him playing...too much going on at that time, handcart rides, cotton candy, snowcones, and helping with a injury(a guy that was playing flag football without shoes). Ouch!
They announced in Primary that there would be a talent show, that afternoon Jacob asked if he could perform. So he did, his talent was building Clone Star War ships with Legos. The children all gathered around him. Tim and I was so proud of Jacob.
We lost count with how many rides Noah took on the handcart. The people doing the handcart knew Noah by name by the end, even with all the kids that were there.
Noah also found Tank's look-a-like sister at the event. Look Tank, she looks like you! What do you think Jon and Lori?
We all had a wonderful day, it was beautiful weather. It was nice, relaxing and refreshing to get out of the city into God's creations!
