IT A BOY!

Well, it is done deal, Tim and I will be parents of ALL boys! We went as a family activity to the ultrasound. Our little boy looks healthy and has all his body parts in order, which is many prayers answered and a relief! We are thrilled! Jacob said just before the ultrasound, "It's a boy!" So Jacob has been right about all his siblings, that they are boys. Now for painting the nursery, as it can't stay the two shades of purple and yellow...not for a boy :)!

My Tribute To Quite The Lady

Thelma Faye Browning Wheelwright ~ May 28, 1918 - May 27, 2010 ~
My Grandma Wheelwright, died this evening, she was 91 years old. Funny, as her 92nd birthday is tomorrow, we guess she didn't want to be to be 92! She also got her birthday present a bit early this year...seeing Grandpa! What a present! Another interesting fact is my Grandpa, William Donald Wheelwright died 10 years ago this memorial week-end. So they both went on the same week-end only 10 year apart, long enough. Grandma and Grandpa had a solid and very happy marriage, one that only anyone could hope for. They had six children, 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren with more on their way here. They serve three L.D.S. missions and enjoy serving years in the Boise Temple together. She was the last of her siblies to pass on. Grandma is greatly love and will be greatly missed.
Grandma taught me how to croquet and as many of you know I love to make baby afagans for new babies. I still remember her sitting in my parent white chair, in the living room and I sitting next to her, as she taught me the stiches. I think I was around 11 years old. I am grateful for these last ten years because we became close in these years, through happy and sad times.
Grandma loved roses and her front yard shows it. Grandpa and Grandma had a huge garden and a nice spead of grape vines. I remember picking and eating fresh grapes, the best! I am thrilled the our house has both two roses brushes and grape vines. It reminds me of them.
Yesterday, I sat down to write her a birthday note and today Jacob put it in the mail. It was to go out in the mail for her tomorrow and get to her by next week, instead I am sending it to Dad and Mom to read. Funny, how each of us really don't know when our mission are complete and when our Heavenly Father will come to take us home. But I guess that is the beauty of life, that we don't know when we will be called home, so we can live our lives to the fullest until our earth lives are complete and we are ready to begin or continue with our eternal lives. It is all part of our Heavenly Father's plan for the eternal destiny of His children.
The four pictures of Grandma were taken August 2007 and August 2008. First one is of her and our boys. Second was at the Wheelwright family cabin, Grandpa and her's favorite spot to visit and they built it in the 70's together. Third, Tammy and Grandma on the paddle boats in Boise. The last is at Grandpa and Grandma's home, having lunch with her as a family.

Wendy The Author????

So back in January, I woke up a three A.M. not being able to go back to sleep. This happened frequency for the last year. I tried to go back to sleep but couldn't so I got up and had an idea. I started writing...a story which turned out to be rather good. I thought about it some more and decided to send it to the Church's Ensign and New Era for possible publishing.
To my complete and utter shock, they sent me a letter asking me if New Era could publish my story! The process of publishing my story is now in the works. I haven't heard when it will come out but they will let me know when. I will let you know :).
I am pleased about this, however still surprised. Who would of thought me as an author...not me!

Family Time

The month of May has been a fun, busy month. Starting with Jacob last school field trip to the Balloon Museum and him finishing up the last month of Kindergarten. Jacob last day is this Friday and we are all ready for summer break!
We are thrilled to announce that Noah is now dressing himself completely without help! Both Jacob and Noah love the idea that summer break will allow more time to be able to play together.
I had a lovely Mother's Day! We went out to eat the day before and I was surprised with a delicious, hot breakfast in bed that morning. Tim and the boys also cooked dinner and did all the dishes. I was spoiled!
We planned our garden as a family. We have two cherry trees and grape vines filled with grapes to look forward to harvesting this year.
Tim and I hosting a housewarming party which was a success! Our boys loved having all their friends come over and play. Tim and I enjoyed seeing all our friends too. We invited all the families that helped us move last November, plus a few more on Sunday after church. Tim worked long hours getting our yards looking just perfect. I appreciated his help with cleaning inside the house too, as I didn't have as much energy as I would have liked. I was pleased that the food turned out so good, as I have never feed that many people (but I learned from the pros...my parents on how to feed the masses). I called my Grandma Marilyn for her recipe for potato salad. She is an amazing cook! I enjoyed talking to my Grandparents.
We have also made a couple of family trips to the gardens this month, once for the Orchid Show and once for the Butterfly Plavion opening up. The boys got to transplant orchids and bring them home. We learned all about butterflies this past week-end. We are going to try our hands at raising butterflies at home this summer in a kit we got. Our live butterflies will be coming the first of June, the boys are so excited about this. We also have swimming lessons and other fun plans for the summer planned.
Well that should cover all the has been happening here at the Webb's...oh one more thing...I hit my second trimester in pregnancy now. I am not longer sick and I have my energy back. I still go to bed earlier and take naps when they are needed. We will find out what we are having in the next month!!! Both Jacob and Noah want a girl. Either way, we have super cute plans on how we are going to paint the nursery, boy or girl!

Grandpa and Grandma are Retiring!!!

The time has finally come! After 35 years of working Grandpa is retiring from his career! Grandma is retiring too after working just as long! We figured these accomplishments need to be noted. We have no doubts that Grandpa and Grandma will be plenty busy and fullfilled in their coming years...with all they have planned. They possibly won't know how they ever had the time to go to work each day :). Jacob said his favorite part of Grandma working is going over to her office and surprising her. Jacob and Noah loved the fish tank too. I'll never forget shopping in the Pocatello Wonder Bread Thrift Shop one morning and losing Jacob. Jacob was only about two and he found the door the warehouse, thought it would be a good idea to "drive the trucks". I have many fun memories going with dad to the warehouse and getting treats there growing up.
Even with how hard they worked, the very early and late hours spent, they always had the time for us kids and their grandkids. Through their examples they taught us how to work hard and do be loyal to the task at hand. If anyone asked them what their great accomplishment has been through the years, it would be easy to guess... their family!

As Slow As Cold Tar Going Up A Hill

WOW! So I surprised myself when I looked tonight at my last blog. Really, I have gone almost two months without writing a thing. Oh, well. We are alive and keeping above water...or last time I checked we were. I doing good and managing the house the best I can these days.
Tim has had all the energy in the world. He has added on to our drip system in the front yard. Tim has the green thumb of this mother, as our backyard grass is the greenest things we see here. These last two days he has build a park size swing set for our backyard (the other one was breaking apart and unsafe). I am amazing all the hidden talents he has since we brought our house.:)
The boys are doing great. Jacob is doing terrific in school and counting down the days until summer break. Jacob has mastered swinging on the swing all by himself too. One night we were able to spot Mars in the sky too. He is really looking forward to our visit this summer to see all of our family, play with cousin and be at the cabin. Don't think we will have him play soccer next year, he is getting good at it but doesn't enjoy it.
Noah is a busy, fun and climbing boy. He has all his numbers up to 20 done, now we are moving on to ABC's if and when he is interested. He really loves swinging in the swing. He is good company to have around even when is he too independent that he could go on his mission now!
As for me, I had my first doctor's appointment on the first of April. I was tempted to call up all my family and tell them we were having twins. But I didn't. It was fun and relieving to see the heart beat. I worry alot that the baby is ok. I am very happy about our baby coming. I am looking forward to feeling better too in the future, thus the "as slow as cold tar going up a hill"...how I would describe how I feel now. But this too shall pass right?
That is all for now. Love you all!
FYI: The picture of Tim and our boys looking up at the night sky is them checking out MARS. That night, we learned that we could see MARS just by looking up at the night sky, it looked like a star but RED. We all thought that was super awesome!
